Markaz Distributes Fruit Saplings on World Environment Day

Calicut: As part of World Environment Day celebrations, Markaz organised a Fruit Sapling Distribution Programme, reaffirming its commitment to environmental sustainability and ecological conservation.
The programme was inaugurated by Director CP Ubaidullah Saquafi in the presence of the Joint Directors and other officials of Markaz.
As part of the initiative, grafted saplings of 14 premium mango varieties, including the highly sought-after Alphonso, Sindhooram, and Neelam, were distributed among staff members and participants. In addition, 31 varieties of fruit-bearing trees such as rose apple (chamba), rambutan, cherry, and baraba were also provided.
