Markaz Unani Medical College Recognised as Government Aided Medical College

Kozhikode: Markaz Unani Medical College, functioning under Markazu Saquafathi Sunniyya, has been officially recognised as a Government Aided Medical College.

Established in 2015 at Markaz Knowledge City, the institution is the only Unani medical college in Kerala and has been playing a vital role in promoting the Unani system of medicine while providing professional medical education and healthcare services.

The college is affiliated with Kerala University of Health Sciences and recognised by the National Commission for Indian System of Medicine, functioning under the Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India.

With the latest recognition as a Government Aided Medical College, the institution is expected to further strengthen academic excellence, expand opportunities for students, and contribute significantly to the development of traditional medicine and healthcare in the state.
