Minhaj Muhammed Saquafi Receives Academic Certificate from Qatar Prime Minister

Kozhikode: Minhaj Muhammed Saquafi, an alumnus of Jamia Markaz, the prominent Islamic university under Markazu Saqafathi Sunniyya, received his academic certificate from H.E. Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the State of Qatar.

Minhaj successfully completed his Master's degree in Linguistics and Arabic Lexicography from the Doha Institute for Graduate Studies, Qatar. As part of his academic programme, he defended his Master's thesis titled “Anti-Colonial Discourses among the Ulama of Malabar: A Sociolinguistic Study,” which examines the linguistic and intellectual dimensions of anti-colonial thought among the scholars of Malabar.

An alumnus of Jamia Markaz, Minhaj pursued his studies at the institution during the 2022–2024 academic period, benefiting from its comprehensive Islamic and academic education.

Minhaj, son of Muhammed Latheefi and Ayisha Mumthaz, has been widely congratulated by H.E. Sheikh Abubakr Ahmad, Founder Chancellor of Jamia Markaz, along with the institution’s officials, faculty members, and alumni, who hailed his achievement as a matter of pride for Jamia Markaz and wished him continued success in his academic and professional journey.
