Calicut, Kerala, India: In a culmination of Ramadan festivities, Markaz, a renowned Islamic educational institution in Kerala, India, farewells the holy Ramadan with stories of grand community iftars and spiritual gatherings, drawing thousands of attendees from various backgrounds.
One of the notable events was the Badrul Kubra Spiritual Conference held at Jamiul Futuh, the Grand Masjid in India, at Markaz Knowledge City. The spiritual gathering, which lasted from 1 pm to midnight, saw over twenty-five thousand people breaking their fast at the Grand Iftar, which was organized as part of the event. Participants from various states in India gathered at Jamiul Futuh to partake in this communal Iftar.
The Markaz Central Campus Karanthur hosted a Grand Community Iftar as part of the Markaz Holy Qur'an Congregation and Hifz Convocation. This event attracted over five thousand attendees, including Hifz students, their parents, commuters, and individuals from diverse backgrounds. The gathering served as a symbol of Unity and community spirit, bringing together people from all walks of life to celebrate the end of Ramadan.
Throughout the blessed month of Ramadan, Markaz extended an open invitation to all for daily Iftar gatherings, serving over 1,500 individuals daily. These gatherings brought together Islamic study students, Qur'an learners, members of the general public, and commuters, fostering a sense of community and Unity.
Moreover, the Markaz Complex Masjid played a pivotal role by hosting hundreds of travellers, students, and shopkeepers of the rush Calicut city daily for Iftar, providing a welcoming environment for all to break their fast together.
The conclusion of Ramadan with these grand community iftars and spiritual gatherings reflects Markaz's commitment to fostering Unity, spreading goodwill, and providing a sense of belonging to all community members, irrespective of background or affiliation.
