Kerala State School Youth Festival: Markaz Students marked a stunning victory


Kozhikode: The students of various Markaz institutions achieved a stunning victory by securing A grades in the nine items they participated in at the Kerala State School Youth Festival held in Calicut. Five Kashmiri students staying and learning at Markaz Emirates Home for Kashmiri Students and a girl from Karnataka studying at Markaz Green valley Orphanage achieved an A grade after experiencing the pride and joy of the Kerala arts festival.

Muhammad Raihan, Bilal Ahmad, Nasir Mahmood and Mahmood Ahmad are the students who bagged A grades in Urdu Poetry Writing, Urdu Story Writing, Urdu Speech Writing and Urdu elocution competitions. They represented Markaz Boys HSS School and Kozhikode District in the festival. These students stay and study at Markaz Emirates Home for Kashmiri Students, established for the educational upliftment of Kashmiri students by Sheikh Abubakr Ahmad, the Grand Mufti of India. Every year  Kashmiri students achieve top levels in the school arts festival in various items. 

Fathimath Nazira, a native of Kukaje, Mangalore, Karnataka and a ninth-standard student of Markaz Fathimabi Higher Secondary School, won in the Kannada poetry writing section of the high school. She is also a student at Greenvalley Maranchatty, founded by Markaz for girls. 

Muhammad Nafil TT, Muhammad Finshar T, Muhammad Bilal, Muhammad Ismail A, Muhammad Rinshad PA, Muhammad Sihan, Mahbub Ali Sirajuddin T, Muhammad Sinan, and Muhammad Swafwan students of Markaz International School Eranhipalam are happy to have achieved two A grades in Daff Muttu and Arabana Muttu lead by Muhammed Midlaj.

Ayesha Najah made Markaz Girls HSS proud by achieving an A grade in High School Arabic Story Writing. Markaz Institutions Chairman Sheikh Abubakr Ahmad and Director General C Muhammad Faizi felicitated the participants and achievers of the State School Arts Festival.
