Markaz Model National Advancement is the need of the time; National Eminence Meet


Calicut: The National Eminence Meet organized as part of the 45th Markaz Annual Conference on the 'Markaz Model Community Development' theme has concluded. The meeting demanded that the social renaissance activities being implemented by Markaz across the country, such as education, employment generation, poverty alleviation, and sustainable development, are essential for the national Muslim movement.

Sayyed Hazrat Mehdi Miya Gishti, the Gaddi Sharif of Ajmer Dargah, inaugurated the conference chaired by C Muhammad Faizi, Director General, Jamia Markaz. He said that the social and philanthropic services being done by Jamia Markaz under the auspices of Sheikh Abubakr Ahmad for four decades are commendable. Dr A P Abdul Hakkim Azhari, the rector of Jamia Markaz, delivered the introductory speech. 

Scholars and educational and social workers from different parts of India attended the program. Hazrat Ghulam Abdul Qadir Alavi, Badaun Sharif Gaddi of Uttar Pradesh, Hazrat Hammad Nizam, Nizamuddin Dargah Gaddi Sharif, Hazrat Nurul Ain Mia Chishti Ajmer, Haji S. Khaja Mohinuddin Chishti Chennai, Haji Khamisa Bhai Sinthi Kheda Ahmedabad, Haji Yusuf Bhai Juneja Rajkot, Haji Jumaraima Gandhidham, Haji Abdul Wakil Khan and Barelvi were the chief guests.

Dr Farooq Naimi, President SSF India,  Basheer Nizami Gujarat, Zuhairuddin Nurani West Bengal, Shihabuddin Nurani Kotak, Jafar Nurani Bangalore, CP Sirajuddin Saquafi, Sadiq Nurani Delhi, Mufti Ibrahim Sahib were present. Ustad Umarali Saquafi welcomed, and Ubaid Ibrahim Nurani gave the vote of thanks.
