Markaz Academy of Qur'an Studies to Host Hifz Convocation Conference on April 4


Kozhikode: The Markaz Academy of Qur'an Studies, a renowned institution for Quranic education in India, is set to host a significant event on Thursday, April 4. This event will mark the convocation ceremony for 161 students who have completed their Qur'an studies and successfully memorized the Holy Quran. This conference aims to recognize their remarkable achievement and dedication to Quranic studies.

The event will feature various programmes, including an enlightening Qur'an talk by His Eminence Sheikh Abubakr Ahmad, the Grand Mufti of India, Liafatul Quran, Khatmul Quran, Huffaz Meet, Dastar Bandi, and a Spiritual Conference will be conducted as part of the program.

A highlight of the ceremony will be the presentation of a special award to an individual who has made significant contributions to the field of Quranic education. Established in 1987, the Markaz Quran Academy has been a beacon of Quranic learning in Kerala, catering to over 2500 students over the last 37 years. Over 800 students continue their studies across 25 off-campuses affiliated with the academy.

The academy's students have achieved remarkable success, representing India in prestigious international Holy Quran competitions in Egypt, UAE, Libya, and Germany, securing top positions. Moreover, they have excelled in national competitions, showcasing their commitment to Quranic knowledge.

Prominent religious scholars and Sadts will lead the convocation and Graduation Conference. Thousands of attendees from various states of South India are expected to participate in the event, which will conclude with a special morning prayer on Friday, April 5, at 1 am.
