International Milad Conference on October 1; reception committee has been formed


Calicut: The International Milad Conference, scheduled for October 1 in Kozhikode, is a significant event organized by Markaz as part of the Miladunnabi campaign. This year's conference will revolve around the theme "Madina Charter: Exemplifying Pluralism," aiming to delve into the profound teachings of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) and his role as a unifying force across diverse cultures.


Distinguished guests, including eminent scholars, grand muftis, university leaders, diplomatic envoys, and esteemed leaders worldwide, will converge at the conference to celebrate the rich tapestry of prophetic heritage on different continents.


To ensure the conference's success, a robust 1001-member welcome committee has been formed, embodying the spirit of unity and hospitality the conference seeks to promote. This conference will be a meeting point for enthusiasts and participants from India and abroad.


The inaugural reception meeting, presided over by Syed Shihabuddin Ahdal Muthanur, was held at Markaz Kamil Ijtima and graced by Director General C Muhammad Faizi.


Highlighting the urgency of countering the misrepresentations of religion and the Prophet, C Muhammed Faizi emphasized the collective responsibility to propagate the true essence and exemplary life of Prophet Muhammad. Syed Muhammad Turab Saquafi presented the conference's overarching vision.


Among the distinguished personalities present were Prof. AK Abdul Hameed, N Ali Abdullah, Syed Swalih Shihab Jifri Kutchira, Syed Muhammad Bafaqih, Muhammad Ali Saquafi Valliad, Hasan Saquafi Tharayittal, Chiyur Muhammad Musliar, Abdulatif Saquafi, Ghafoor Master, and Bashir Saquafi Kaipuram, along with representatives from various organizations. CP Ubaidullah Saquafi delivered the welcome address, while Akbar Badusa Saquafi extended the vote of gratitude.


The International Milad Conference is a beacon of understanding, compassion, and unity in a world where misconceptions abound. By examining the Madina Charter's principles, the conference promises to inspire attendees to carry forward the legacy of pluralism championed by Prophet Muhammad (pbuh).
